President

Mrs. Sabrina N. Young is the President of the Young's Daughters Bereavement Center. A first generational Funeral Director, Embalmer, Certified Celebrant, and Funeral Insurance agent in Temple. She graduated from Warren Mott High School and the University of Central Oklahoma with her Bachelor's in Mortuary Science, all of which she graduated in the top ranks of her classes. Mrs. Young served in the U.S. Army (Combat Military Police Officer) until she found her calling as a Director.


She is the Service Officer and a Lifetime Member of the VFW Post #1820.  A member of the  DAV and American Legion Post #133. Proudly was the founding  Secretary for the Temple- Belton Ladies Lions Club. Mrs. Young is a two time Past President of the South Central Texas Funeral Directors Association, a Member of the TFDAs' Disaster Response team and is a Past Board Member of the State of Texas Funeral Directors Association where she also served on the Legislative, Ethics and Membership Committees. Sabrina began her career working in Temple at other local funeral homes and was summoned by the community to start her own in 2018. She is honored to have been chosen by the V-WISE program which helped launch her business in 2021.


  Young's Daughters is a member of the Temple Chamber of Commerce, Belton Chamber of Commerce,  Charter member of the Compassionate Friends-Bluebonnet chapter and serves as (CERT) community emergency response team member for Temple. 


Sabrina is married to Justin E. Young and together they have five daughters; Kayla, Kelsea, Zaydriana, Valora, and Cecilia Young. All of which attend Seaton Brethren Church. The Youngs' are very active in the community. They hold their families and friends dear to them.

James "Jim" Fly

James E. (Jim) Fly, MA, MS, SPHR Jim’s ministry service has included Pastor, Outreach and Church-Plant Minister, Deacon, Music Minister, Religious Education Director, and Pastoral Counselor.


His Christian Chaplaincy work has been in private practice, in churches, and in hospital and care facilities. Jim’s areas of chaplaincy focus include helping adults and teens identify and use their spiritual gifts, and providing chaplaincy counseling for people who are experiencing bereavement and loss.


Jim completed Clinical Pastoral Education and clinical Chaplaincy practicum at the Baptist Hospitals in San Antonio, TX. This Chaplaincy training program is accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE).


Jim’s secular work included Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations for Nonprofit Hospitals, VA Hospitals, and Higher Education Institutions. He completed Master’s degrees at Amberton University in Garland, TX. His education in Bible and Psychology was completed at Harding University in Searcy, AR. Jim and his wife Carol live in Temple, TX where they are members of the Western Hills Church of Christ. The couple has two adult children and five grandchildren.

She is a member of the Spjst lodge 47 and was District 2 queen for 2020-2021. She enjoys arts, crafting, and her family.

Elizabeth Hattenbach is a Central Texas native, born and raised in Bell County. Realizing her desire to care for others, she obtained a Certified Nursing Assistant Certification and is currently working on her Certification as a Death Doula. She now applies these subjective practices to the families she serves. Our partnerships with various Central Texas Hospices allow her to work alongside Medical Professionals to enhance the in-home and End of Life planning experience. She is excited to inspire a positive, purposeful, and everlasting friendship to help families make sure they have a meaningful experience through; enhancing the atmosphere in the home, End of Life life coaching, facilitating the acceptance of terminal illness, caring for the caregiver, and funeral planning.


You will see through her training offered on our Facebook events page. She offers emotional support & comfort classes, Advance Directive Classes, Legacy Planning, Capturing Life Tributes, and Funeral Planning. She is also a wife and mother of four.

Cassie Jones-Williams grew up in a single parent family home in a rural community in East Texas. She has been married for 31 years and has three children and one granddaughter.


Her passion is empowering people. She joined the Military straight out of High School. During her tenure, she served in the medical field stateside and overseas. One of the great opportunities she had was Co-Pastoring with her husband in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. She was in the presence of people who were not like her but pursued something greater for themselves and their families as she did. She retired after 17 years, five of those years being on inactive duty.


She became an Ordained Minister in 2001. In 2011, she started Omega Star Ministries; a ministry of Christian Counseling, Life Coaching and empowering women to love themselves and to allow God to love them unconditionally. Her ministry has expanded to Bible Studies in Women’s Shelters, (Women) Dream Centers and Job Corps and occasionally encouraging women confined to prisons.


Prior to moving to Central Texas, she worked as a Chaplain for Oasis Hospice and pastored New Birth Assembly of God in Huntsville, Texas. As a Chaplain, she provided spiritual care and visits to hospice patients as well as their families. She provided bereavement services in the form of in-person and phone counseling and visits. She facilitated bereavement classes in Assisted Living Centers with up to ten participants. She coordinated Celebration of Life services for all Oasis Hospice families. She coordinated Chaplain daily thoughts of inspiration to staff and provided staff with spiritual care and training.


She holds a BS in Business Administration. She is a Seminary graduate of Liberty University with a MA in Theological Studies, and she holds a Ph.D. in Psychology (Biblical Model) from Dayspring Christian University. She is a Certified Chaplain, life coach, and Anger Resolution Therapist.
